Formal research I authored, co-authored, or contributed to: papers and preprints, technical reports, experiments and studies, research software and hardware, datasets and benchmarks, posters and presentations, and replication studies. Formal research is one of the most direct ways to contribute to foundational knowledge, paving the way for, or directly making major breakthrough discoveries to benefit humanity as a whole.

I often express frustration with "academic bloat", however, the standardization and organization of effective research is one of humanity's greatest achievements. Effective is a key word though. Incompetence + excessive bureaucracy can easily ruin the process.

  Natural-Sparsity Acceleration for Ternary LLMs

  Tests whether the natural zeros in pretrained ternary LLMs justify a bitmap/sign GEMV engine over five-trit packing. They help only when zeros are common and weight reads are expensive.
